ClearPath can treat:
Crowding – teeth are too close together
Spacing – gaps between teeth
Overbite – teeth overlap too much vertically
Overjet – upper front teeth stick out and protruded
Underbite – lower teeth extend past the upper front teeth
Crossbite – upper and lower teeth bite on the wrong side each other
Openbite – your teeth do not meet when you bite
Misplaced Midline – center lines of upper and lower teeth don’t align
So why is orthodontics so important? Why do I need it ?
Never underestimate the power of a nice smile. A nice smile is not only beautiful, it also promotes good health.
Teeth that are straight and evenly spaced are easier to keep clean.
So that means better oral health. Better oral health can reduce the incidence of heart disease, gastrointestinal disease, and other health conditions.
You need your teeth to eat and chew and teeth are designed to meet in a certain way that makes chewing more efficient which helps in proper digestion.
A well balanced and even bite also reduces the risk of excessive stress , headache and strain on your supporting bone and tissue .
GETTING YOUR CLEAR PATH ALIGNERS
The first step in the process is to visit your orthodontist.
Your orthodontist shall collect all the necessary records on the first appointment (models , x-rays). Once he has completely evaluated your records, he designs a treatment plan for you, the copy of the same is also send to the technical team. There are three primary rounds of case discussion with the lab and then the final treatment plan is set.
A special interactive session is then conducted with the patient briefing him all about the course, time and number of retainers that shall be used in his case.
The next step includes final sets of measurements and then by use of CAD CAM technique fabrication of those transparent retainers. The above mentioned procedure shall require about 6-8 weeks time for the final delivery of the aligners.
